We know that finding pure, real food can be challenging these days. This is why we ONLY collect milk from small family-run Amish farms in central Pennsylvania to create a fully pure, wholesome, and delicious cultured butter.  Cultured butter not only tastes so much better than regular butter, it also offers tremendous health benefits compared to traditional butter.

While some companies may say their cows are completely grass-fed, they often give a bit of grain from time to time. Not Swiss Villa! Our cultured butter is created from 100 percent grass-fed milk. Ever feel bloated or experience gastrointestinal issues when drinking milk? Our cultured butter is only made using A2A2 milk which includes the A2A2 protein which supplies many health benefits including easier digestion. On top of our cows being free to graze as they please, grass-fed milk brings many more health benefits to our cultured butter. Ready to learn more? Keep reading!

No matter our background, we all have something in common: we desire good health. And our cultured butter is packed with health benefits thanks to our grass-fed milk.

Churned from the milk of 100 percent grass-fed cows, our cultured butter does not carry any GMO or soy baggage. Here at Swiss Villa, we offer two excellent cultured butter products: salted and unsalted butter.

Each container of our salted butter comes in two options: one pound and a half pound. This is perfect if you need different proportions. You may live alone and want to keep your cultured butter fresh and enjoy it before it spoils, making a half-pound the perfect option. Or, if you have a small family (or roommates), our pound portion is a solid fit.

Perhaps you are trying to lower your salt intake, for health reasons. We hear you! With you in mind, we churn unsalted cultured butter, keeping your health in line. As with our salted butter, you can choose between two different packages: half-pound and full-pound packages.

  1. First, we haul our raw milk to the local creamery in large canisters.
  2. Once our raw milk arrives, it is put a vat and gently pasteurized.
  3. After pasteurization, the cream is separated from the skim milk and carefully cultured.
  4. Once the cream is fully cultured, it is churned into butter.
  5. Finally, we can pick up the cultured butter and package it for your enjoyment!
