Beef tallow is the pure fat of beef cattle, harvested and cut ready for you to render at home. Once slowly melted down (between 95℉ and 115℉) and strained, it transforms into a firm, creamy white fat. It stays solid on your counter in a cool kitchen but can soften or melt on a warm day or when it comes into contact with your skin.
