Description
**How Much Sodium Is in Our Unsalted Jalapeno Cheddar?
The estimated naturally occurring salt content in our Jalapeno Cheddar Cheese is: 60–70 mg per ounce.
Compare this to regular aged cheeses, which typically contains 180–230 mg of sodium per ounce due to added salt. In contrast, our cheese contains only the natural sodium found in milk—no salt is added.
That’s about 70% less sodium than a standard cheddar, making our cheese a great option for those looking to reduce their sodium intake while still enjoying a rich, aged flavor of cheddar cheese.

Oh my gosh – this Jalapeno Cheddar cheese is fantastic in Mac and Cheese. Mentally I like an orange sauce and this is white cheddar, but I added some paprika and tumeric for a nice orange shade! I didn’t even notice the lack of sodium. Great product!!!
