Our grass-fed, organic beef suet is a traditional cooking fat with some serious health benefits. Compared with conventional beef suet, ours has a better balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fats and helps fight inflammation. Our beef suet comes cut and frozen, convenient for faster rendering and longer life.

It is the hard, crumbly, mildly flavored fat surrounding the kidneys. It melts between 113 and 122° Farenheit, a process called rendering. Once rendered, beef suet becomes tallow, a creamy fat with a beefier taste. Tallow is equally versatile, an ideal fat for cooking and frying, and a popular ingredient in homemade soaps and candles.
Beef suet is high in vitamins A, D, E, K and B1. It also contains selenium and choline. Because our beef suet is grass-fed, it is also high in CLA and omega-3.
